He has dedicated his career to providing solutions to his client’s commercial real estate needs, representing their interests from both the tenant and the landlord perspective. At Sustainability Roundtable (SR, Inc.), Jim combines his dedication to providing solutions with his passion for sustainability to create value and drive innovation for his clients to help them reach their goals.
Prior to joining SR, Inc., Jim was Vice President of Bitzer Real Estate Partners in Denver, Colorado, a commercial real estate services company. The majority of his career was spent in Denver with Grubb & Ellis progressing from Senior Associate to Vice President to National Director. Here, he spent the latter half of his career consulting for Grubb Ellis’s top corporate clients, won numerous awards and successfully increased market share.
He has been actively involved in real estate decisions for a number of industry leading corporations, performing services ranging from portfolio optimization, strategic planning and site selection to acquisition and disposition of properties. Jim’s corporate real estate experience also includes involvement with market analysis and valuation, merger & acquisition and lease administration services.
Prior to Grubb & Ellis, Jim held positions as an Appraiser, General Contractor, Project Manager, Co-Founder/Partner of his own firm in Chicago, IL. He holds a BS in Economics from the University of Wisconsin, is a member of many professional real estate organizations including the USGBC and CoreNet and is active in several Denver-area charities, such as Children’s Hospital and Brokers for Battered Kids.
