April Webinar
Why and How Leading RE Executives Deploy Enterprise Energy and Carbon Accounting Software
This management best practices research report is presented to address the expressed and growing interest of SRER Member-Clients in exploring various Enterprise Energy and Carbon Accounting (EECA) Software solutions to better manage their enterprise greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, as part of their overall sustainability strategy for their multi-building, often global, real estate portfolio.
As the footprint boundaries of large companies and real estate owners expand, the challenge of managing energy and carbon data efficiently and accurately increases. This challenge has immediate and particularized relevance for the users of corporate real estate, the owners of corporate real estate, and investor-advisors invested in corporate real estate, dozens of whom SR Inc interviews reveal as evaluating or deploying EECA solutions in real time. The management best practice research and recommendations presented are premised on numerous SR Inc Member-Clients interviews in CY 2011, and SR Inc recommendations are strictly vendor- and category-solution neutral.
Q1 Conference/ Videolink
SR Inc’s SRER Members met in Boston, New York, D.C. and the Bay Area prior to the Q1 Conference for a meal and networking. During the conference, two topics were discussed:
Why Members Are Developing Sustainability Strategies
We examined why and how multiple corporate users and owner-investors have found advantage in creating “sustainability strategies” to organize, resource, and gain recognition for their success in driving more sustainable high-performance across multi-building RE portfolios.
How Top RE Executives Are Addressing an Inflecting Water Crisis
CRE leaders are rightly concerned about the rapidly rising cost of water, potential future spikes and resource interruptions, as well as quickly changing related regulations. We examine the issues and how top executives are managing to excel in this environment.
