Sustainability Roundtable Inc welcomes Toma Barylak as Vice President of Advisory Services in San Francisco

Sustainability Roundtable Inc is pleased announce another addition to its growing national team. Toma Barylak joins SR Inc in San Francisco as a Vice President of Advisory Services. Toma brings to SR Inc a decade of advisory service and analytical experience in Corporate Real Estate (CRE) and the attendant renewable energy and energy efficiency sectors.

Toma has helped leading public and private companies in the Bay Area develop and execute CRE strategies that reduce cost, mitigate risk and maximize shareholder value. Toma began his career with a 100 year old international industrial supplier. There he served as a single point of contact for Fortune 500 companies and managed a division of a sales operation with over $10M in daily revenue. Subsequently, he joined a global CRE advisory service firm – The Staubach Company – where he delivered best-in-class strategic planning, quantitative and transaction services to public and private companies.

After six years in CRE advisory services, Toma invested his experience into fostering greater energy efficiency and overall sustainability in the built environment. Initially, he led a research and analysis effort for a national developer of commercial, retail and residential properties, exploring the detailed financial implications of various renewal energy and energy efficiency retrofit strategies across the portfolio. Before joining SR Inc, Toma served as the VP of Business Development for GroundSource Geothermal, a 2008 winner of the “Sustainability” prize at the California CleanTech Open. Toma holds an MA from Cornell University and is committed to promoting the management practices and technologies that enhance the performance, productivity and sustainability of CRE.

James F. Boyle, President & CEO of SR Inc notes, “SR Inc growing Membership will benefit greatly from Toma’s specific experience in making corporate real estate more sustainable and years of general advisory services in corporate real estate. It is a privilege to have him join our extraordinary national team.”
