SR Inc Welcomes Peter Crawley as Senior Advisor

It is a privilege and pleasure to welcome Peter Crawley to Sustainability Roundtable, Inc. as a Senior Advisor to assist and guide SR Inc Member-Clients.

Peter Crawley has led at the intersection of strategic consulting, real estate and sustainability for more than 15 years.  Peter has served as the principal advisor to top real estate owners, as well as scores of operating companies, in developing and implementing their sustainability strategies. Previously, Peter served as the Director of Sustainability Services at the environmental engineering firm EBI Consulting, as well Director of the Sustainable Business Leader Program of Massachusetts.  He has run his own consulting firm and has taught on sustainability, leadership and corporate social responsibility as adjunct professor at Boston College’s Carroll School of Business.

Peter began his career in real estate development and has managed the design and permitting process for mixed use projects as large as $300 million.   He has also worked in real estate acquisitions, finance and planning for companies such as John Hancock Properties, Meredith Management and the Boston Redevelopment Authority.  Peter has worked on numerous LEED certification and high-performance building projects.  He has managed more than fifty (50) corporate sustainability audits that improved operational efficiencies in the areas of energy, waste, water, carbon, transportation, toxicity and human behaviors, for companies including Equity Office Properties, Merida Flooring, New Boston Fund and Longwood Events.  Peter has designed and implemented company behavioral change programs to advance sustainability goals and build employee teamwork.   He is LEED accredited and has deep experience working on energy efficiency issues, product life cycle improvements as well as greenhouse gas measurement, reduction and reporting.

Peter is an Amherst College graduate who received a Masters of Science in Real Estate from Columbia University and completed extensive coursework in Sustainability and Environmental Management at Harvard University.
