Sustainability Roundtable, Inc. (SR Inc) is a shared-cost, Member-Client directed research and conferencing company. SR Inc brings research, conferencing, and facilitated networking to the sustainable real estate market and focuses on supporting budget owners as they seek to optimize their budgets towards greater sustainability. As the company name suggests, SR Inc provides its services via highly-focused, annual roundtable services. SR Inc delivers the research via numerous reports, regulatory surveys, an online digital library, webinars and quarterly conferences.

Shared research and consulting is a capital-efficient and time-efficient model of service in which companies who are asking the same or very similar questions subscribe to an SR Inc roundtable service to be provided with best practices and decision support. The strength of this model is that the cost of the research is syndicated across all Member-Clients of each roundtable service. This reduces costs for individual companies. Also, the service model aggregates and validates the expertise of all Member-Clients and provides all Member-Clients with the resulting research.

No, Membership does not require a substantial time investment. Actually, Member-Clients consider their involvement to be a time conservation measure. This is because SR Inc’s services assist Member-Client’s by providing decision support to help focus efforts on appropriate and actionable practices that have been proven to work. SR Inc does the work to identify actionable solutions so that you don’t invest time reinventing the wheel. Additionally, SR Inc services are designed to be time-efficient both when contributing to the process and when implementing the research.

Sustainability Roundtable Inc operates through highly-focused function-specific roundtable services. These Roundtables focus on optimizing specific corporate functions towards greater sustainability. Each roundtable is guided by Member-Clients who refine and approve the annual service program. SR Inc then collects (via interviews, surveys, and other methodologies) information from Member-Clients as well as material contributed by experts. The SR Inc research staff then analyzes the data, produces original and secondary research, and distributes the research via reports, webinars and quarterly conferences. Each roundtable generally delivers its research through multiple Best Practices Reports, Regulatory Updates, Quarterly Conferences, an online Digital Library, and a year-end thought leader and reporting Summit.

SR Inc’s roundtable services are customized to address the needs and interest of the roundtable’s Member-Clients. SR Inc includes participation of experts from firms that are global thought leaders. However, all SR Inc services are designed to meet the needs of the roundtable end users.

SR Inc continually consults industry leaders, vigilantly identifying the challenges and needs in managing a more sustainable business. From this, SR Inc produces a draft annual service proposal. Companies involved in the Charter Advisory Process then meet over two months to refine and approve the service agenda during the beginning of the each year.

A limited, promotional form of the research will be made available. The full substance of SR Inc’s Best Practices Reports, which are produced multiple times a month, is made available to SR Inc Member-Clients only.
